Box S Kennel

Box S Kennel is a family operated kennel in southwest Missouri. We are 30 miles from the Kansas, Arkansas and Oklahoma borders. We raise our puppies to be companions and friends to their forever families.

We love the Chihuahuas for their tenacity, attitude, adorable fun-loving personalities and compact size.

We are not necessarily show dog breeders, but we are careful to avoid genetic faults and known breed flaws. We have recently been given the unique opportunity to add a Champion male to our Chihuahua family. He is Ch. Bel-Air's Spark Plug. We are excited about future litters sired by him starting this summer.

Although, all of our breeding stock are within the breed standard of 6 lbs. and produce mostly small babies, we will not sacrifice conformation for size. Most of our puppies exemplify the breed standard. We will not perpetuate bad bites, bad knees or bad temperaments.

Our Chihuahuas are raised in our home, but allowed and encouraged to explore and enjoy the outdoors. On any given day, they will see other dogs, cats, Texas Longhorn cattle, American Quarter Horses and pot-bellied pigs. We are with our dogs for every birth and continue to monitor their health and well-being until they go to their permanent homes at about 10 weeks. We vaccinate and worm carefully to avoid the health problems that can arise by giving too large a dose to these delicate babies.

Our puppies are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC). Prices vary according to size, color and sex.
